"Canzada" was my grandmother's name. I love it and chose it as my dance name many years ago. Now it is my art signature because painting evokes a similar feeling for me as when I dance with veils---colors swirl and spiral around me, time evaporates, and I feel centered and joy-filled.
Movement is a theme in my life---physical movement through dance or in nature, moving to various places to live, and moving beyond self-imposed boundaries of thought or perception. I am an energy intuitive----information flows to me via patterns of amazing colors in my inner vision that pulse and move, informing me of my clients' needs. All these forms of movement, color and pattern are reflected in my work.
I love color, be it soothing or clashing. Textures and shapes colliding or resonating fascinate me. For much of my work, I use drip and pouring techniques---it is exciting to direct the flow of different colors and witness them blend, layer or race along the canvas. I have only an illusion of control...

My artwork is acrylic on canvas, with some mixed media.
Most works are ready to hang, with edges painted, so no frame is needed! There are a few exceptions!
Each series includes an explanation of the source of my inspiration for the group.
Sizes range from 4x6" to 30x50". Smaller canvases look good in groupings of 2 or more and I have sample groups shown. Several pieces may be hung vertically, horizontally or on a diagonal, adding versatility to decorating.
If the work you like is sold, it may be possible to create a similar commission piece. Layaway is Available.
